Still think you need a large development team? Afraid that there is only one person?

With AI tools, one or two experienced developers can be enough for your project.

AI agents handle repetitive coding. I direct the work, design the architecture, review the code, integrate components and test the result.

Think shovels to bulldozers: better tools, a smaller crew, faster progress.

I cover mobile, desktop and server software, bringing in specialists when needed. Team size and timelines depend on your project.

My background

During my career, I’ve worked with large enterprises, startups and small businesses, so I understand their different needs and ways of working. My experience covers productivity software, medical devices, banking and media streaming.

Google reference: Quickoffice, later acquired by Google.

Banking · Cardholder services

MobileiOS SDKSwiftiOS NativeGitAWS

Built a reusable iOS SDK that banks embed into their own apps to offer Visa card benefits, concierge services, and travel offers.

Handled the entire delivery as a sole developer: built the SDK, established its distribution and release process using Git and AWS, wrote integration documentation, and worked directly with banks’ technical teams to answer questions and support integration.

C++C#Medical imaging

Developed the 3D visualization component of the GE LOGIQ E9 ultrasound system, enabling doctors to explore scan results in three dimensions.

Refactored 16,000 lines of complex code into readable, maintainable software and added automated tests. This also supported the FDA certification process by making the component’s behavior easier for reviewers to understand and verify.

MobileBackendFlutter (mobile cross-platform)GoSystem Architecture

Helped a team of just three developers build an entire banking system. Delivered the cross-platform Flutter app for iOS and Android and implemented parts of the server infrastructure.

Introduced architectural patterns on the server to improve testability and maintainability, including dependency injection to make components easier to test independently and a logging policy to make problems easier to trace and diagnose.

Initiated AI-based infrastructure monitoring: an agent reads logs, detects problems, analyzes the relevant code and sends developers suggested fixes. Developers review the proposals and, in most cases, can accept them directly.

MobileC++Objective-CiOS Native

Developed the spreadsheet editor in Quickoffice’s iOS office suite, enabling users to view and edit Excel files on iPhone and iPad.

Google acquired Quickoffice in 2012 and later integrated its technology into Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides to support editing Microsoft Office files.

Led a team of six engineers at Samsung R&D, building tools that identify shapes drawn by hand, such as circles, rectangles, and triangles. Developed a C++ software library that applications could use to recognize these drawings. Established the entire development process, including automated build and delivery pipelines (CI/CD), code reviews, and automated testing, to help the team deliver reliable updates.

DesktopC++Objective-CmacOSSystem integration

Extended and supported Teramind’s macOS Agent, which collects computer activity for its monitoring platform. Worked on the parts that connect the application to macOS, using system extensions and accessibility features.

MobileDesktopC++Objective-CQt

Helped a team of just 17 developers build an office suite in one year, offering an alternative to Google Docs and Microsoft 365 across web, desktop, and mobile, with supporting server software. It could also be deployed within an enterprise’s own infrastructure, keeping sensitive documents under its control.

Played a key role in developing the shared C++ core used by the iOS, Android, desktop, and web clients, and led its integration with external development teams. Alongside this work, led the iOS team building the mobile office suite.

MobileiOS NativeLive streamingTeam coordination

Developed GlobalM’s iOS app, enabling mobile journalists to stream live video directly to media organizations such as CNN and the BBC.

Brought an Android developer and a designer onto the project, helping the company expand its development capacity and deliver software faster.

How to start?

Start with a conversation. Choose a working model. Build with clear progress.

  1. Discovery call

    We discuss your business goals, current software, budget and priorities. Together, we identify what needs to be built or improved and whether I’m the right fit.

  2. Agree on the work

    After discovery, we agree on the scope, working model and next steps, then sign an NDA and contract before implementation. If we need to discuss confidential details during discovery, we can sign the NDA first.

    Fixed price

    Best for a clearly defined scope. We agree on deliverables, price and timeline before starting. Any changes are discussed and priced separately before work proceeds.

    Time and materials

    Best when requirements may evolve. You pay for the time worked at an agreed rate, plus any agreed project expenses. We set priorities and a budget, track time and review spending together.

    Current rate: 60 USD/hour

  3. Build, review and adjust

    A 30-minute call once a week is usually enough to review progress, answer questions and agree on priorities. During intensive phases, we may meet three times a week or even daily. We adjust the schedule together to stay aligned and keep the project context fresh, without unnecessary meetings taking time away from development.
